Being in small business challenges us on many levels.
I am a woman with a small business, just like you. I’ve become great at multi-tasking. And sometimes I too feel overwhelmed by the amount and range of things to do in my business. My skills, expertise and strengths do not stretch across everything! And of course, for women, there is the added responsibility of home and family.
The one thing that I have learned is that I need to educate myself in all aspects of running a business like marketing for example. I need to at least understand and get a grasp of areas that are important but not necessarily my core business. Then I have had the confidence to ‘outsource’ these functions because I know what is involved and how they can help my business succeed. I can then concentrate on what I do best in my business.
Like marketing, accounting and financial management is another critical area to understand and manage in our businesses. But what if it is not your skill set or strength? I’ve seen clients struggle with cumbersome manual systems (paper and spreadsheets) that take up so much of their time. Or computerised systems that they do not fully understand or know how to use. That just leads to frustration, confusion and overwhelm! It keeps them in the dark about how their business is performing.
Can you relate to that?
How about changing that now? How about setting up a seamless accounting system for your business once and for all to be able to produce sound financial reports and have confidence in the numbers and your business decisions? How about automating these tasks so that your time is freed up?
I’d love to show you how. You don’t have to do this alone any more!
Every business decision has a financial consequence so it is really important to manage your business finances. I’ll be talking about the latest in financial management, the best practices in the business, and the coolest accounting software in town, Xero.
